Praeferre Showcased in Japan During the UK–Japan 5G Trade Mission

Last week marked an incredible milestone for Praeferre as we concluded a high-impact, one-week market visit to Japan as part of the UK–Japan 5G Trade Mission under the UKRI Global Business Innovation Programme. It was a packed, engaging, and truly inspiring week in Tokyo—one that opened new doors and set the stage for exciting opportunities across Japan and the wider Asian market.

We were honoured to introduce Praeferre alongside 11 other innovative UK companies offering game-changing solutions in the 5G and cybersecurity ecosystem. Witnessing firsthand how Japan is advancing its cyber and digital infrastructure—while harnessing the full potential of next-generation connectivity—was both insightful and energising.

Our delegation was graciously hosted by the British Embassy Tokyo, Ambassador House Tokyo, SoftBank Group Corp., Plug and Play Japan, Rakuten, JETRO – Japan External Trade Organization, and NTT DOCOMO. The warm hospitality, meaningful conversations, and high-value interactions made the mission truly memorable.

Throughout the week, we engaged in numerous impactful meetings, exchanged collaboration ideas, and gained valuable insights into market needs and emerging opportunities. The level of interest and openness from Japanese industry leaders reaffirmed the relevance of Praeferre’s vision in strengthening digital resilience, cyber innovation, and data-driven risk intelligence in the 5G era.
