Praeferre signs MoU with SRPOST to advance Responsible AI in Korea
Praeferre is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SRPOST Co., Ltd. in Seoul on 1 October. SRPOST is a Korean software company specialising in smart city and civic service solutions, with more than 600 projects delivered and almost 300 loyal customers, including the Seoul Metropolitan Government and other major public institutions.
Their portfolio spans citizen participation systems, smart call centres, smart city platforms, text analytics and air quality monitoring, all designed to help municipalities deliver better, data-driven services to citizens.
Under the MoU, Praeferre and SRPOST will work together to localise and embed Praeferre’s governance, risk and compliance (GRC) engine into SRPOST’s AI and data platforms. The collaboration focuses on several areas, including pilots with public sector bodies and regulators around Responsible AI and compliance sandboxes, integration for smart city operators and infrastructure platforms, and cooperation with cybersecurity and cloud hosting firms to ensure Praeferre’s solutions are deployed in full alignment with Korean regulatory requirements.
SRPOST will also leverage its network of Korean enterprises and B2B solution providers to explore integration of Praeferre’s engine into existing VOC and SRM offerings and other enterprise services.
Looking ahead, the partners will explore joint work with leading Korean university research labs and AI ethics centres, including ongoing collaborations SRPOST maintains with Chung-Ang University, KAIST and ETRI, to align with Korea’s strategies in explainable and trusted AI.
In addition, Praeferre and SRPOST plan to prepare together for upcoming international R&D opportunities expected in the first half of 2026, building on SRPOST’s strong track record in global smart city and AI projects. This MoU lays the foundation for a long-term partnership aimed at making Responsible AI practical, compliant and scalable for governments and businesses in Korea and beyond.
